The Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS) is the French organisation for multidisciplinary research.

Within MIMOSA, it will provides expertise in the following areas: molten salt chemistry and pyrochemical processes; analytical chemistry; thermodynamic calculations and electrochemistry; neutronics and nuclear data; MSR design; reactor physics and safety assessment; multi-physics modelling and simulation. The ILCLa will be responsible for the implementation of a molten salt lab with various equipment dedicated to molten salt experimentation. The CNRS leads WP6 (‘Production and recovery of valuable isotopes’).
