The group is the leading provider of recycling solutions for LWR spent nuclear fuel management. It is the designer and operator of the fuel reprocessing plant in La Hague and the MOX fuel fabrication plant in Mélox.
Within MIMOSA, Orano leads WP5 (‘Molten salt recycling and back end’) and 8 (‘Project management’).
